Abstract

[The Unidroit Principles of international commercial contracts: how to enhance the knowledge of the San Marino contract law] Within San Marino's law system most of the contract rules are contained in the ius commune. Though being adequate to the requirements of commercial negotiations, they prove to be far from being easily knowable. This study is concerned with the question in how far the country's normative reception of the Unidroit Principles regarding international trade contracts may be considered an efficient response to the problem without the introduction of new innovations which might not be in tune with the system.
